The Role

The Practice Operations Team is dedicated to helping clinical teams deliver the best patient care at the dentist office. We apply Overjet’s cutting-edge dental AI in a SaaS platform so dentists can consistently identify needed patient care and better explain treatment needs with powerful AI visualizations.

We’re a cross-functional technical team blending backend, frontend, data engineering, machine learning, data science, and product. We work closely with sales, product, clinical, and customer success teams to rapidly iterate the Platform and delight clinicians and patients. We are looking for a Solutions Engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills, who will serve as the primary Integration Engineer for the Overjet IRIS Image Capture platform.

Responsibilities 

  • Integrating with 3rd party Practice Management Systems and Imaging Systems
  • Installing the Overjet IRIS Image Capture platform on customer workstation environments via remote sessions
  • Utilize a combination of cloud based and open source tools and frameworks to solve complex data problems
  • Configuring the Overjet IRIS Image Capture platform to allow seamless customer transition into our product, and away from other long standing industry competitor products
  • Write efficient and scalable code, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, clinical and customer success teams to streamline the onboarding support processes for our IRIS customers
  • Ability to be "on-call" on non-working hours periodically, as needed and planned for by the team

Qualifications

  • Excellent academic background in Computer Science or other related field
  • 3-5 years of experience of Software Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of SaaS experience
  • Experience with third party software integration or solutions engineering 
  • Experience with Dental Practice Management Systems and Imaging Systems (nice to have)
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English is required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment
