As the Sales Solutions Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and customer success by combining technical product knowledge with sales skills. As a subject matter expert in our company’s products and services, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client needs, tailor solutions, and demonstrate the value of our products and services to potential customers. This role acts as the bridge between the technical aspects of our products and the prospect's business needs, ensuring that the proposed solution aligns with the client’s objectives. 


The impact you'll have:

  • Partner with Sales to acquire new clients who will benefit from our solutions and maximizing customer potential in designated sales regions
  • Demonstrating ongoing new product/solution offerings to the existing customer base
  • Providing a solid mix of virtual and on-site product demonstrations
  • Traveling with sales executives to visit prospects and customers to participate in initial discovery calls, product demonstrations, or technical discussions
  • Developing and growing relationships with customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements; speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Recording and maintaining task and activity data for each prospect/customer data in Salesforce
  • Providing technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
  • Maintain and update technical/sales demonstration sites
  • Coordinate the setup and management of data in “demo” accounts for sales rep
  • Collaborate with sales enablement in developing product training plans with assets, and lead training sessions for the sales teams

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in a Sales Engineering, Pre-sales, or Technical Consulting role; preferably in K-12 education software sales
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in K-12 education software sales
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for achieving targets and driving business growth
  • You excel in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base 
  • You are the go-to resource for technical inquiries for the Sales team & prospects
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically to address client challenges effectively
  • Organized, analytical, and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches 
  • Proven understanding of the sales process and sales methodologies
  • Ability to present and communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and reports
  • Strong storytelling abilities with the ability to deliver engaging and compelling product demonstrations with the effective use of virtual meeting annotation tools
  • Comfortable with up to 50% of  travel for client visits and industry events
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) - 3-5+ years of relevant experience

U.S. Pay Range

$70,000$115,000 USD

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate, and is provided pursuant to Equal Pay Laws. SchoolStatus intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, such as experience. Our team will provide more information about the total compensation package for this position during the interview process.
