About the Role: As a Solutions Consultant, you will be a key technical and strategic advisor in our sales process, helping customers understand how our SaaS platform can solve their business challenges and give them time back. You will bridge the gap between our cutting-edge MES cloud-native technology and the real-world needs of our clients by leveraging compelling advanced storytelling, deep technical expertise, and a consultative approach. Your role will enhance the sales cycle by providing insights, demonstrating value, and ensuring prospects feel confident in our platform’s ability to support their needs.


Key Responsibilities


Storytelling & Customer Engagement

  • Craft and deliver compelling narratives that align our platform’s capabilities with customer needs.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business value for stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Lead engaging product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and technical deep dives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by building strong relationships with prospects, customers, and internal teams.


Sales Process Enhancement

  • Partner with Sr. Account Directors to accelerate deal cycles by removing technical blockers and ensuring seamless handoffs.
  • Provide strategic input on proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and customer presentations.
  • Identify common objections and proactively develop responses to strengthen our competitive position.
  • Assist in refining sales collateral, playbooks, and value propositions to align with industry trends and customer challenges.


Technical Expertise & Solutioning

  • Answer technical questions related to distributed systems, infrastructure, APIs, integrations, security, and performance at scale.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery to understand a customer’s current architecture and recommend solutions tailored to their environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, microservices, Kubernetes, DevOps, and observability trends.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to influence product roadmap and ensure alignment with customer needs.


What You’ll  Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in a Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales role within a SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and networking.
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, and infrastructure-related architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, microservices, serverless computing, SCADA systems).
  • Proficiency in technical discovery, solutioning, and objection handling during sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, observability tools, and security best practices.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across sales, product, and engineering teams.
  • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think on your feet and navigate complex technical discussions.
