Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, the Solutions Consultant helps CaterTrax, our partners and clients meet key business needs by providing the product knowledge and technical acumen needed to define and implement TRAX Platform solutions. The Solution Consultant will team with Business Development through the full solution engagement lifecycle. From pre-sales consulting to define and propose TRAX Platform solutions, to managing the solution implementation through partner/client acceptance, the Solutions Consultant will assure client satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
This is a hybrid position located in Rochester, NY.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Prioritizes, plans, implements, analyzes, and completes all assigned Consulting Services projects within the specified timeframe
- Consult with business development, partners & clients to recommend feasible/business workflows appropriate to the CaterTrax platform and solution alternatives.
- Document partner/client requests that require development; identifies high level business requirements for the purposes of product innovation approval and classification.
- Teams with business development to submit qualified project requests to the product innovation team for approval and classification.
- Prepares Consulting Services Statements of Work (SOW) for partners/clients; team with business development to present SOW and overcome potential objections.
- Assists project management with managing/coordinating overall project activities and tasks with the partner/client and internal functional departments; provides status of Consulting Services projects to business development, partner/client, and internal stakeholders.
- Provides timely and professional responses to internal and partner/client requests via email and telephone
- Serves as voice of customer to development team for Consulting Services development projects; participate in sprint review sessions as partner/client proxy.
- Facilitate partner/client review and acceptance, including the configuration of the acceptance environment.
- Perform hands on configuration as required to facilitate the implementation of Consulting Services projects.
- Monitor progress towards and completes all billings on milestone completion for all Consulting Services projects.
- Prepare knowledge transfer and/or process documentation and conducts initial knowledge transfer/handoff meetings for Consulting Services projects; execute consulting services commercialization tasks to completion.
- Assists with maintaining Consulting Services process documentation, tools, templates and collaterals and identifies opportunities to create efficiencies and/or improved client experiences
- Assists project management with the creation of project plans for the execution of Consulting Services projects
- Makes recommendations for product and process improvement based on partner/client feedback and lessons learned from Consulting Services projects
- Works closely with Product Innovation regarding potential new product enhancements and/or improvements
- Works closely with development regarding any potential defects related to Consulting Services projects to determine resolution
- May be required to be available for after-hours support for critical Consulting Services project needs.
- May be required to periodically travel for onsite meetings with partners/clients/third-party vendors for Consulting Services projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
