Position Overview: 

The Solutions Consultant will serve as the primary ambassador and expert for our innovative solutions designed to enhance school transportation safety. This role will require a deep understanding of the technology, performance specifications, and operational benefits of the School Bus Arm product. As the face of this product line, you will represent our organization at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings, effectively communicating the advantages of our offerings. Your strategic insight and exceptional communication skills will be critical in building connections with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that our solutions meet their needs and exceed expectations. 

 

Job Duties:  

Product Expertise: 

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the School Bus Arm product, including technical specifications and competitive landscape. 
  • Stay informed about advancements in technology and regulations related to school transportation safety. 
  • Conduct regular internal training sessions to keep the team updated on product features and industry best practices. 
  • Collaborate with the product management team to provide insights on client needs and potential product enhancements. 

 

Client Engagement 

  • Conduct assessments to understand client needs, pain points, and logistical challenges in school transportation. 
  • Provide tailored solution recommendations that align with client requirements and enhance safety measures. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing communication and trust. 
  • Gather and document client feedback for continuous improvement of products and services. 

 

Solution Development 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and client support, to design customized solutions. 
  • Assist in drafting detailed project proposals that outline deliverables, timelines, and pricing structures. 
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with client objectives and industry standards, highlighting the unique benefits of the School Bus Arm product. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify innovative approaches to meet client needs. 

 

Product Solution Representative 

  • Serve as the primary representative for the School Bus Arm product at trade shows, conventions, and industry events. 
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of the product. 
  • Network with industry professionals to identify potential clients and gather market insights. 
  • Collect feedback from event participants to inform product development and marketing strategies. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Experience in Traffic Solutions and/or Government Solutions a plus. 
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus but not required 
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, sales, or customer support in the transportation or safety products sector. 
  • Proven track record of successfully engaging with clients and delivering tailored solutions. 
  • Comfortable using CRM software and other productivity tools (such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, etc.). 
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and products quickly. 
  • Understanding of engineering or technical specifications related to safety products is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess client needs and develop effective solutions. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to effectively manage timelines and deliverables. 
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards related to school transportation.
