A Day in the Life of the Solutions Consultant - About the role:

As a Solutions Consultant, you will uncover a prospect’s true needs and develop compelling business cases, serve as a trusted advisor to airline clients, presenting tailored solutions that address their operational and business challenges. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, implementation and technical teams to ensure our solutions align with client needs and drive measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Solution Design: (50%)

  • Leading discovery to understand a prospect's requirements, challenges, and objectives
  • Develop and present customized solutions, demonstrating how they meet airline-specific needs.
  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and workshops
  • Orchestrate the delivery of proof-of-concept sessions
  • Analyze client workflows and processes to identify optimization opportunities using our solutions.

Trusted Advisor (30%)

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on airline operations, including optimization, retailing and customer experience.
  • Provide insights and recommendations tailored to each client’s operational goals.
  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within airlines.

Implementation and Support: (10%)

  • Collaborate with product and implementation teams to ensure smooth deployment of solutions.
  • Provide guidance during the onboarding phase, addressing client queries and customizing solutions where necessary.

Market and Product Insights: (10%)

  • Gather client and market feedback to influence product roadmap and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes in the airline and technology providers

Who we are looking for:

A highly skilled and motivated Solution Consultant with proven:

  • Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in creating tailored, scalable solutions that address client-specific challenges.
  • Strong ability to understand client needs, propose relevant solutions, and articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Analytical mindset for diagnosing operational inefficiencies and designing appropriate solutions.
  • Expertise in showcasing how solutions translate into measurable business outcomes for clients.
  • Strong understanding of Airline business and operations, and aviation industry trends
  • Be a conduit to sales, product, and technical teams, to ensure solutions align with client needs.
  • Able to juggle multiple client engagements and internal initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting to evolving client requirements.

Strongly desired additional skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, or similar roles within the airline, or travel Industry.
  • Strong persuasion skills to encourage clients to adopt solutions and internal teams to prioritize client needs.
  • Deep expertise in industry leading Revenue Management, pricing, availability, shopping and merchandising solutions.
  • Knowledge in NDC and One Order IATA initiatives, Reservation and Global Distribution Systems (GDS), ATPCO fare rules, dynamic pricing, availability management, merchandising and ancillary revenue practices.
  • Ability to interpret data, build models, and provide actionable insights.
  • Capacity to align solutions with the client's broader business strategy.
