Solution s Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a strong technical background to join our team and have impact across our efforts. If you have some or all of the following skills and experience along with the desire to work with a smart, high performing team, we would love to talk
Responsibilities
- Engage with users and stakeholders to form a deep understanding of mission objectives and stakeholder requirements
- Work with product managers and technical leaders to translate mission needs into technical solutions and architecture s
- Regularly interact with senior govt stakeholders and mission users to extract and refine vision and direction
- Lead and coordinate onsite daily operations
- Attend and/or lead meetings with onsite technical staff and government
- Contribute directly to technical solutions as needed via software engineering, configuration management, testing, debugging.
- Work with Technical Program Manager and developers to formulate an implementation plan and schedule
- Work with DevSecOps team on cybersecurity, accreditation, and deployment needs.
Minimum Requirements
- TS/SCI with a current CI polygraph.
- 5+ years in a software architecture, solutions engineering or technical lead role
- 5+ years in a software development role on a high performing team
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Proven ability to organize and direct teams of skilled people
- Problem solving mentality
Preferred
- DoD 8570 IAT lvl II
- Solution Architecture certification in AWS or other major cloud provider

In support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $151,000.00 - $251,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
