What to expect in this role

In this role, you will BE Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that address the unique challenges and requirements of our clients. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication to ensure that technology investments contribute to the overall success of the projects we deliver to our clients.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements and provide technical guidance and support.

• Design system interactivity and reuse existing components where possible 

• Investigate and evaluate various technologies to determine the best technology solution to solve our client’s business problems.

• Research and become familiar with internal enterprise systems and their capabilities

• Periodically review code to ensure compliance with proposed technical guidelines and solutions.

• Communicate with stakeholders regarding solution architecture design and decisions.

• Create and maintain architecture diagrams & documentation

• Provide work estimates and drive sizing on technology initiatives

• Research and learn new technologies that may be proposed to our clients as part of the recommended solution.

• Develop comprehensive, scalable, and efficient technical solutions that meet business needs while adhering to best practices and architectural principles.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the organization's needs. Make recommendations for technology adoption or upgrades.

Qualifications and Tech Proficiency

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.

• Minimum of 6 – 8 years of experience.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

• A high level of accountability and teamwork skills.

• Strong customer service orientation and a passion for solving problems.

• Flexibility to handle a dynamic environment with multiple priorities in play at once.

• Strong understanding of web APIs, API contract design,  & authentication/authorization required. 

• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, networking fundamentals, enterprise architecture, and on-premise computing required

• Point of Sale & experience working as an Enterprise Architect at a large financial institution preferred
