Your Role at impact.com:

The Solutions Architect is the client-facing technical expert at SaaSquatch, an impact.com brand, and is responsible for helping potential clients learn about our platform, architect a unique solution, and then help them implement it. 

Your role begins in the sales process, working with our Account Executives to help potential clients assess SaaSquatch from a technical standpoint, reviewing their technical requirements, answering questions and putting together a rough blueprint for their proposed program. Once the contract is signed, you’ll work with an Implementation Manager to refine the blueprint and guide the client through implementing SaaSquatch into their systems. SaaSquatch promises success for their clients and your role is helping set clients up for success from an architectural and technical standpoint.

What You'll Do:

  • Be a strategic partner to our Account Executives and Implementations Manager, as well as a trusted advisor to our potential and implementing clients
  • Work closely with our clients on uncovering technical details behind requirements and producing a documented technical solution that fits
  • Deliver presentations of solutions during the sales cycle, answering questions, highlighting recommendations and voicing the technical flexibility of SaaSquatch
  • Continuously focus on proposed and implemented solutions, ensuring that blockers and technical obstacles are quickly identified and mitigated
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the solution to be delivered from a technical requirements perspective, including but not limited to: 
    • Data mapping and interpretation 
    • API and flat-file data integrations to and from application platforms 
    • Application deployment and adoption strategies 
  • Coordinate technical tasks and milestones related to projects with both the client and internal colleagues
  • Collaborate with Product teams to triage bug fixes and feature requests stemming from potential and implementing clients

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field OR equivalent working experience
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Proven track record selling complex SaaS solutions
  • Excellent communication and technical leadership skills, as well as demonstrated tenacity and persistence
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
  • Excellent attention to detail and passionate about continuously documenting technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers
  • Knowledge and experience with most of the following technologies:
    • REST APIs and/or GraphQL
    • Javascript
    • Data Structures, including CSV, JSONL and JSONata
    • Salesforce Flow Builder and/or Apex
    • Zapier
    • Asana or other project management tools
    • Running or setting up Referral and Loyalty programs
  • Ability to balance both team-based and self-driven projects to continue to push clients, our team and our company forward
  • Successfully delivered enterprise software projects involving multiple business, technical stakeholders and marketing teams is a bonus
  • Continued access to  Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA

Salary Range: $90,000- $115,000 CAD per year, plus 25% Variable Commission Plan for an additional $22,500-$28,750) and generous stock (RSU) award. *This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
