The role you'll play
As a Solution Sales Consultant, you will be a pivotal player in designing bespoke customer solutions for our AI and machine translation offerings. You will partner with our Business Development and Customer Success teams, attending customer meetings and engaging in both pre-sales and sales dialogues. By deeply understanding customer needs and market demands, you will convert customers and help shape solutions that deliver exceptional value.
You will be instrumental in the execution of one of our most important OKR’s for 2025: converting selected customers into AI and machine translation workflows. You will be identifying the relevant customers, own the sales dialogues and negotiation processes and support with implementation in LanguageWire’s Translation Management System. Moreover, you will become the expert that our Customer Success Managers will turn to for sparring on complex AI and machine translation workflows and client projects, and your input will directly influence the development of new products and services, ensuring they align with market expectations and customer needs.

- You have successfully designed, sold and supported the implementation of AI language solutions for key customers, resulting in measurable business outcomes
- You are recognized as a trusted advisor by both customers and colleagues, sought after for your insights, solution selling skills, and problem-solving mindset
- You've fostered collaboration across teams, ensuring seamless alignment between business development, customer success, and product development
- Your input has directly influenced the development or refinement of products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs and gain market traction
Desired Experience and Competencies
What you'll need to bring
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a relevant business or language field
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, capable of influencing and building relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in sales or directly with sales teams to build customer-centric solutions
- The ability to translate customer needs into business requirements and communicate this in a structured manner
- Solid understanding of language technology (e.g., AI-driven translation tools, localization technology) and translation services – or ability to quickly acquire it

- A track record of achieving ambitious revenue targets
- Demonstrated ability to handle both mid-size and enterprise-level customers from initial dialogue to deal-closing
- Deep expertise in language technology or multilingual services
- A well-established consulting toolbox
- Certifications or courses in product, solution selling or similar is an advantage but not a requirement
