Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Be the Voice of the Customer and a key member of the core project team, in terms of Quality.
- Oversee the quality status within the dedicated projects & provide support to ensure Quality standards and best practices are applied consistently, to ensure successful Project Delivery.
- Act as primary interface between the Project Team members, its Stakeholders and Project Quality.
- Identify Product & Process Lessons Learned outputs for Quality Assurance Activities and facilitate their effective implementation in relevant projects and organizational functions.
- Perform Supplier Quality management for the assigned projects to ensure 100% Supplier Readiness in line with the Project Scope of Supply.
- Follow up of Final Acceptance Test for sub-assemblies, the entire installation as well as third party deliveries.
- Drive issue resolution and analysis via Issue Management System across the entire organization and train relevant Project Teams on problem solving techniques (such as 8D, 5 whys…)
- Participate in cross-functional meetings regarding non-conformance, ensuring speed and rigour in corrective actions.
- Drive document control systems for all quality data and ensure corrective measures are enacted for noncompliance.
- Responsible for conducting/participating in local quality audits, interpret findings and manage corrective actions.
- Support to solve systematic issues to avoid risk within pre-flight (NCC avoidance / reduction; Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives which are key driver of ongoing risk identification in new opportunities (e.g. Product Risks; Process Risks).
- Drive, facilitate & support all involved functions to pass Pre-Flight Quality Gates (QG01A & B) + Responsible for maintaining QG01 A & B content & process
- Participate and approve / reject Review Process outcomes next to other defined SMEs (e.g. Tech-, EHS/CEA-, Cost-, Risk-Review).
- Challenging the Solution / Module Specialist and make sure Feedback from Project Execution is filtered and ensure throughout pre-flight is implemented / considered in new opportunities.
- Partner with S & SD to achieve a successful Risk Management (incl. Identification, proper evaluation through SMEs and mitigation definition).
- Set-Up and perform Process Compliance Audit Program (Rolling Audit on Process Standardization (e.g. Standard Work Packages)).
- Ensure in partnership with S & SD to handover all relevant aspects to Project Execution.
What We are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, adequate vocational technical training in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality or Project Execution function in a project-based business within logistics, automotive, aviation or other related industry with a strong understanding of regional regulations.
- Proven ability to write and produce technical reports and ability to oversee internal and external quality audits.
- Strong knowledge of codes, standards and expertise in quality management.
- Leader and team player with conflict resilience, “right-first time” mentality.
- Proven skills in quality improvement techniques and Risk Management (i.e., Six Sigma, FMEA).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong capabilities in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Data-driven and familiarity with Power BI and/or other data capturing tools.
- Fluent in English and in German languages - required. Italian, Spanish, French language skills would be considered beneficial.
