Job Summary:

As a Solution Consultant, you will play a crucial role as a product expert and key member of the sales team in presenting and championing Squareworks’ products and solutions to customers and potential customers. You will provide expert guidance in transitioning the customer to the Squareworks implementation team post-close. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to ensure successful integration and optimal utilization of our payment technologies. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients to understand their payment processing needs and business goals. 
  • Solution Design: Develop customized payment solutions that align with client requirements, leveraging our product offerings and industry best practices. 
  • Technical Expertise: Gather complex technical requirements and partner with the Sales team to customize Squareworks’ products to address and solve customer challenges. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of processes and product domain 
  • Implementation Support: Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful solution deployment and integration with client systems. 
  • Training & Support: Lead customer discovery sessions and product demonstrations, articulating Squareworks’ solutions to customer and potential customer C-Level and front-line representatives 
  • Market Analysis: Maintains awareness and knowledge of customer experiences, along with industry and competitor trends and regulatory changes to advise clients effectively and enhance our product portfolio. 
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including solution designs, implementation guides, and client communications. 
  • Projects: Contribute to assigned projects and initiatives, primarily within Sales, with collaboration with Marketing, Partnerships and Customer Success 
  • Cross Collaboration: Partner with product to drive a deeper understanding of prospect/customer needs 

Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or business, or equivalent experience 
  • 3 years’ related experience, preferably in a fintech environment 
  • Experience in ERP and accounts payable 
  • Build and deliver compelling value-driven presentations 
  • Build trusted relationships and partnerships with internal and external teams and individuals, and engage with all levels in an organization, from C-Level to front-line 
  • Thrive in a startup business environment 
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on meeting sales targets 
  • Sales focused and technical savvy 
  • Professionalism, commitment, and initiative 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
