Platinum Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our company.   

This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI with the eligibility to obtain a CI/Poly. The position is in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  

What you get to do.

•Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sources.

•Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate datasets and mode complex business problems.

•Facilitates integrating cloud-based data solutions to promote scalability and enhance efficiency, optimizes data processing workflows, and resolves data-related issues.

•Integrates new project data sources with the current USSOCOM data classification and protection tools and platforms, support appropriate data tagging for data used in all projects and assists in implementing data loss prevention measures.

•Implement and monitor database security measures, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards, including encryption, access control, and audit trails.

•Monitor the performance of databases, identifying and resolving issues related to query efficiency, data integrity, and system responsiveness.

•Manage data migrations, upgrades, and patch installations for database systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and full functionality.

Required Skills.

•Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for CI/Polygraph.

•Minimum five (3) + years of experience in application development or engineering.

•Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.

•Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including data migration and integration.

•Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

•Knowledge of DoD security standards, including encryption protocols, access control, and auditing practices.

•Experience implementing and managing data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
