Within the Naval-Engineering cluster, the Radar Core Procssing department develops software solutions for our radar and optical sensors, among other things. This concerns real-time software for our radar processing systems in the sensor domain.

About the job
Software is a big part of our total engineering effort and provides a lot of extra functionality to our radar systems. We value the use of high-tech techniques and methods to achieve our solutions better and faster. The large Scale Scrum method is used in software development. Different teams develop software that is integrated and demonstrated in one product. We do all this in a fixed rhythm.
As a Software Verification Engineer, you are a member of one of our scrum teams and are primarily involved in testing and validating our software subproducts.
You get plenty of opportunities to develop in different directions. Depending on your passion and ambitions, there are several growth paths possible, for example towards software architecture or system testing. Participating in in the field exercises and thus see our solutions in action are also possible.
About you
Do you have a passion for technology and do you feel like working on radar processing solutions and complex algorithms? Then you might be the person we are looking for.
- The prerequisite for this is a completed HBO or WO education in a technical direction, preferably (technical) informatics or electrical engineering. A passion for software engineering is self-evident where knowledge and experience with the following tools and techniques is a pre: C, C++, Linux, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven and Continuous Integration.
- You are creative, open and flexible and well able to act as a team player. You have some years of experience in software engineering or software integration in a real-time environment. In addition, you are result-oriented, initiative-rich and communicate clearly.
- A good knowledge of the Dutch and English language is necessary to be successful in this job.
