Job Summary:
Software Test Automation Engineer Intern: In this role, you will work on automated testing and receive training on industry standard automation tools, frameworks, and processes, enabling you to develop and maintain valuable test cases and test scripts that will enhance our automation testing coverage. This internship will provide hands-on experience with key industry tools and technologies, including Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, Jenkins, Jira, SharePoint and SVN helping you build a solid foundation in test automation.
Job Description:
What Will You Do:
- Automate manual test cases to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Assist in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting existing API, UI automation test cases and test suites.
- Assist in developing internal tools and processes to maintain stability and performance of our test automation framework.
- Assist in the development and update manual test cases and test procedures.
- Perform manual and automated testing; Execute embedded boundary scan application tests.
- Track and manage test execution and defects.
- Assist in the Software Release and Software Regression tests.
- Collaborate with the team to develop reliable automated tests.
- Contribute to improving our test coverage and overall testing efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Some software development knowledge is required.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical, organized, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong work ethic and detail-oriented; ability to work independently with minimal supervision or assistance.
- Any experience with test automation, or Python, Robot Framework, or Selenium is a plus.
- Knowledge of developing and implementing test cases, test case design and automation strategies.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
