At Haemonetics, we are dedicated to advancing blood management technology to improve patient care. We are looking for a maternity cover Software Support Specialist with a background as a biomedical scientist in a blood bank environment to join our Blood Management Technology team.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing expert technical support for our HAE applications and hardware solutions used in hospitals, blood banks and transfusion services. Your hands-on experience in blood banking will be key to troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring customers get the most out of our technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first line of support for our customers (hospitals, blood bank, etc).
  • Provide specialized technical assistance for HAE (Haemonetics) applications and hardware, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Utilize your biomedical scientist expertise to understand and resolve customer challenges effectively.
  • Work closely with internal teams to escalate and address complex technical issues.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service with a problem-solving and customer-first mindset.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
  • Experience as a Biomedical Scientist in a blood bank or transfusion laboratory.
  • Strong knowledge of blood management, transfusion practices, and related laboratory processes.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to communicate solutions clearly.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
