Software QA Engineer

Job Description

As an industry-leading property management technology for commercial, office, retail, and residential properties, SKYLINE integrates full lease administration, property accounting, general ledger, and accounts payable all onto one, easy-to-use platform.

Main Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium, API testing tools like JMeter, ReadyAPI etc.

• Conduct regression, performance, and API testing.

• Identify, analyze, and report bugs; collaborate with teams to resolve issues. 

• Analyze and report bugs and errors found during tests.

• Liaison with internal teams (like developers, testers, and product managers) to identify user and system requirements.

• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.

• Familiar with Release Cycle and Agile-Scrum methodology and practices.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Required Qualifications​:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

• 2+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance, Manual and Automation testing.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, API Testing, and automation tools.

• Have basic understanding of writing JSON script, Mongo DB, Jenkins etc.- Have good understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration and continuous Delivery) Processes.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of best practices follows in SaaS.

• Know-how of ReadyAPI tool would be a plus.

• Experience with performance and/or security testing would be a plus.

• Good oral and written communication skills- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
