About the Role
- We are looking for a SW PM for all aspects of project execution w.r.t scope, time and quality- You will be the interface to the customer , to Harman internal stakeholders and suppliers with responsibility for delivery of a MB CC Full System Simulation according customer requirement specification and other agreements between customer and Harman. You will monitor & control execution against plan and drive measures to meet project goals and KPIs.
What You Will Do
- As SW PM for the Full System Simulation you will be responsible for a technically ambitious simulation system with challenging delivery milestones. The simulation system is a separate work package within MB CC project with dedicated resource plan and budget.
- You will drive technical clarification and decision, ensure execution in time and in budget and where necessary define and apply corrective measures.
Constantly tracks project key performance indicators and sets priorities for optimization. - Especially you enforce a complete, detailed and comprehensive customer specification or amendments to the customer specification as baseline for architecture, construction and as reference for validation and acceptance of the technical solution.
- You will follow Harman development processes to fulfill the maturity gates, implement or support to implement processes to achieve A-Spice L3. The assigned development teams are located in Germany, Poland and Romania and include architect, development and expert internal and external.
- You will bring in your technical background knowledge to judge the architecture and concept, set the technical solution based on SW architecture. You develop the plan for execution and apply project management methods and demonstrate leadership during execution towards customer ready delivery.
- Management reporting internally incl. SBU Leader (Director level and above)
What You Need
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
- 5+ years knowledge and hands-on experience in virtualization environment development and tools (e.g. Vector SIL KIT, Vector vVIRTUALtarget, SoC simulator, QEMU, FMI (functional mock-up interface), FMU (functional mock-up unit, matlab), Simulink, …)
- 2+ years in leadership, technical program management or similar role preferably in automotive software developments. Experience in all phases of the software development process (requirements, scope, design/plan, develop, test, and approval) as well as communication and stakeholder management.
- 2+ years of experience in agile development in a role acc. agile model
- Experience in a client-facing role.
- This position requires both technical and management knowledge and skills.
- Track record as a very successful team leader and Project Manager for complex systems with experience
- You shall effectively lead with a result driven mindset, team oriented collaboration and establish trustful communication to customer, suppliers and internal
What is Nice to Have
- Experience with managing regional distributed development teams
- Good presentation skills
- PMP certificate ownership
- Automotive and infotainment industry experience
