Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineers II in Jacksonville, FL to help shape and build our next gen pipeline deployment infrastructure. Create, maintain, and improve automation that builds and deploys environments for client focused testing and implementation teams. Manage deployments to environments in coordination with release management – with focus on automating promotion. Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate build and deployment issues. Engage with Development teams to optimize a commit-based build pipeline, debugging as needed. Write Jenkins groovy shared library framework, Ansible and other tools. Configure and run Maven build jobs. Assist with improving IOS/Android build and distribution pipeline. Automate execution of QA test suites. Perform metrics collection and dashboarding. Implement InfoSec security tests. Maintain Git and Artifactory repository structures. Provision and configure Kubernetes/OpenShift namespaces. Perform Package releases with Helm charts. Perform database automation with Flyway, collaborating with DBA teams. Advocate for best practices when it comes to DevOps processes, culture, and 12-factor application design.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: collaborating with Release Managers, Development teams, DBA’s (Database Administrators) on software delivery using established DevOps pipelines including software release builds, deploys, and troubleshooting to ensure quality software releases; working with Container virtualization infrastructure including Redhat OpenShift, Docker, and Helm; working with Modern DevOps engineering base tools and practices including Honeycomb libraries, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Dynatrace, Splunk, Maven, Git, Liquibase, and Akamai; working with Modern DevOps engineering extended tools, including BlackDuck, Veracode, groovy scripting, Ansible and helm charts; working with DevOps scripting languages including Groovy, Python, and Go; utilizing Modern hosting technologies for containerization and the Azure OpenShift platform; implementing operational basics for modern database automation tools including Liquibase; implementing Modern DevOps best practices including lean release management, deployments and configuration as code to ensure everything automated and repeatable; and utilizing Digital Banking products. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
