Job Duties: Automate, optimize, and drive efficiency of effort, code, and process. Configure, deploy, run and maintain large cloud-hosted systems including auto-scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance. Engineer solutions that move us along our journey towards zero-touch, highly scalable, reliable infrastructure services. Create, maintain, and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members. Lead technical aspects and direction for the team and mentor team members ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Golang; (3) Spring Boot; (4) JPA; (5) REST; (6) OAuth; (7) PKI; (8) Hashicorp Consul; (9) Terraform; (10) Apache Kafke. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $206,315.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.
