Responsibilities

• Assist the Ataraxis engineering team, picking up slack wherever needed.

• Prototype and iterate on internal tools and scripts to streamline team workflows.

• Identify bottlenecks in software infrastructure and propose robust solutions.

• Assist in monitoring, logging, and debugging across the technology stack.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.

Sample projects conducted at Ataraxis might include

• Optimize the throughput of Ataraxis training pipeline.

• Research and improve the UI/UX of the Ataraxis physician portal.

• Expand our digital pathology foundation model evaluation suite.

• Build quality control or unit testing frameworks for Ataraxis data and models.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD studies in progress.

• Excellent skills in Python.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, and distributed computing.

• Solid understanding of the foundations of statistics, linear algebra, probability and machine learning.

• Solid understanding of web development and the deployment of machine learning models.

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative software development best practices.

• Experience with AI coding tools, like Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, etc.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
