Summary:
Blue Yonder is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that leverage your Java experience and cloud expertise. What you will do:
- Collaborate with experienced team members to contribute to the development of Analytics features and bug fixes.
- Create and contribute to Data Pipeline and automation for Analytics
- Create matching test cases to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Work closely with the team to identify and prioritize tasks from the backlog.
- Engage in key team activities including backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Participate in code and design reviews to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
- Learn and contribute to the team's continuous integration pipeline, ensuring the stability of the development environment.
- Strive for code readability and maintainability, actively seeking ways to improve code quality.
- Develop a deep understanding of the problem domain your team is tackling.
What we are looking for:
- Applicant must be local to the Dallas area
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field.
- Working knowledge Snowflake and Git Actions.
- Proficiency in different file formats such as YML and JSON.
- Proficiency in Java, Python ,SQL
- Working knowledge of cloud environments, with a focus on Azure.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.

The Anglian Water's @one Alliance is a partnership consisting of 8 companies, who each provide specialised knowledge allowing the @one Alliance to deliver complex delivery projects in the most efficient way, reducing the cost to Anglian Water’s customers.
Within @one Alliance we’ve currently embarked on a huge programme of work costing a massive £1.2 billion. We’ve entered year 5 of our current 5-year Asset Management Period (AMP7) meaning we’re full steam ahead in delivering around 50% of Anglian Water’s capital delivery projects.
Our partners are Anglian Water Asset Delivery, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB), SWECO, SKANSKA and MWH Treatment. Employees in the @one Alliance are employed across all our partner companies and work together to deliver complex programmes of work.
