The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc.
Responsibilities-• Plan and manage information technology projects including monitoring ongoing performance of systems and developing updates and modifications that are required in accordance with business needs;• Support legacy platform built in ColdFusion and support modernization efforts when possible;• Collaborate with Information Systems and Business to evaluate user requests, clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs;• Determine feasibility of new or modified computer programs, including time requirements, compatibility with current system and system capabilities;• Oversee coding of new or modified computer programs into existing systems and test program effectiveness;• Evaluate error messages, modify codes and troubleshoot programming problems;• Provide production operation support including system setup and processing and data extraction, as well as off-hour technical support with on-call rotation;• Collaborate with project team to formulate detailed program specifications using analysis and design methodology;• Define and implement applications in a multi-platform distributed environment; and• Provide assistance to team with issues needing technical expertise, including on-the-job training for new and existing team members.• Partial work from home benefit available.Qualifications-
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in any Engineering field
• 3 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer, System Analyst, IT Technical Analyst, or a related occupation.
• Experience implementing core design components.
• Experience developing and enhancing existing IOT Application.
• Experience writing and executing unit test cases in Dev Integration Testing.• Experience migrating Member Submitted Claims Applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry environment for scalability.• Experience designing and developing middle layer connecting to DB2 and presenting data to end-users;• Experience developing microservices; and• Experience using: Secure File Transfer Protocol Java interface, Spring Boot, REACT JS, Jenkins, and JavaScript based UI framework.
