The Information Security Software Engineering (ISE) Group is responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated software solutions to safeguard GoDaddy's ecosystem. We are seeking a dedicated Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in software development and a keen focus on security. The ideal candidate will have proven of hands-on experience in software development, with a consistent track record of working with the latest software technologies while prioritising security best practices.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing secure software solutions to protect our organisation from cyber threats. You will get to work with some of the brightest minds to build secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant microservices-based platform deployed on the AWS cloud, using the newest technology stack.

What you'll get to do...

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant code deployed on AWS cloud.
• Write efficient, maintainable code following best practices, and ensure code quality through extensive unit and integration testing.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring your team's DevOps on-call responsibilities.
• Contribute to the technical documentation, code reviews, and mentoring fellow engineers.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and guide other developers.

Your experience should include...

• 2+ years of experience in a software engineering role. Demonstrated proficiency in Python, Go and/or Typescript, with a comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. 
• Proficiency or working knowledge of UI tools and frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3 , CloudWatch etc.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and other DevOps tools.Experience working in agile teams and deploying code using Git-based workflows and CI/CD technologies.
• Strong experience with version control software (Git preferred).

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
