Condé Nast is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join the Commercial Platform team at our office in Madrid. He/she will work closely with product, design and commercial stakeholders to develop digital ad technologies that drive commercial revenue, and meet market needs. Our global technology team has offices in New York, London and Bangalore, and supports a network of over 200 million readers and subscribers worldwide.
About Us
The Ad Tech group sits within the Commercial Platform Engineering team at Condé Nast. The team maintains and develops the advertising capabilities for Condé Nast’s global ads platform. The platform’s stack leverages the latest Javascript frameworks -- React, TypeScript, GraphQL.
About the Role
As an ad tech engineer, you will be responsible for developing, scaling and maintaining new ad products. You will work in the front and back ends of the application - we use Javascript, React, GraphQL. You will support the team with diagramming, documenting, reading, researching, and writing code related to the delivery, rendering, and monetization of digital ad products.
About You - Required skills/experience

You are a software engineer with 8+ years of experience.

Comfortable developing with JavaScript and Node.js, good understanding of React, TypeScript, and unit testing with Jest

Professional experience using source control: Git, GitHub

Experienced with HTML and CSS

Understanding of Cloud infrastructure - AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, YAML

Familiarity with SQL

You are someone who will own every step of the development process; from technical decisions, agile ticket refinement, to shipping code to production.
