The Software Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing embedded software solutions for Automotive controllers. Design and develop embedded software for automotive controllers in accordance with Automotive SPICE development process. Work directly with customer to perform software requirements analysis. Work with systems and hardware engineers to ensure software achieves system requirements. Perform electrical schematic reviews and provide feedback to hardware engineers. Develop software design documentation and review with customer. Develop C code and/or software models as needed for design/coding process. Work with SW test competencies to resolve reported software issues. Perform functional testing on target hardware, generate unit test reports, integration test reports, and develop automated regression testing for software releases.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Communication Engineering or Computer Science and 36 months of experience in job offered or related in embedded software development.
This position requires experience in: Experience working with electrical schematic diagrams. Experience with microprocessor software development methods - Integrated Development Environments, target-based debuggers. Experience with use of generic test equipment such as oscilloscopes. Experience with Engine Management Systems and diagnostics. Experience with use and concepts of software configuration management tools. Experience with NXP and AURIX micros including Cobra55 and TC3xx. Experience with AUTOSAR, ISO26262, and ASPICE development process.
