The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software engineering to join our dynamic team. This role involves maintaining and upgrading existing web servers that are critical to the organization’s operations, while also contributing to new development initiatives. Responsibilities:
You will maintain and manage current web servers, such as Maxwell and Math Depot, built using Twiki, Apache, and PHP. Assist in migrating existing web server instances from outdated Linux OS versions to newer ones. Ensure web servers remain functional during upgrades and transition processes, particularly with CASPORT authorization. You wil collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new solutions and improve existing web architectures.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE), working on programs of similar scope, complexity, and type.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution. (Note: 4 years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for the degree.)
- At least 5 years of recent experience developing in JavaScript.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience developing software in Linux, Windows, or Mac OS environments.
- Proficiency in MS SQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, and GIT for version control and collaboration.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,400 - $198,300
