Telesign is seeking a Software Developer in Test to extend our automated test coverage for our internally developed systems.
Responsibilities:
- Determine methods and procedures, developing and executing test plans that cover functional, performance, stress, stability, and operational requirements for both existing and new software platforms.
- Automate test procedures, making appropriate use of tools and test frameworks.
- Perform hands-on testing.
- Work as part of our development teams within the SCRUM process.
- Accountable for automating the testing of highly complex systems.
- Bug reporting and tracking, bug analysis, and reproduction.
- Deployment verification.
- Performance testing.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or another equivalent field.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Relational database experience.
- Ability to write automated tests using common programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, Groovy, etc.
- Team player with good time management and communication skills.
- Keen to learn new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in software test automation, tools, and methodologies.
- Understanding of HTTP.
- Experience with testing REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with testing software in a virtualized Linux environment and common open-source software packages.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with AWS.
