About the role
Software Engineer, System Integration at Appier plays a pivotal role in connecting our solutions with various platforms. You will be responsible for designing the most flexible and scalable architecture and implementing the integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust system integration solutions to connect Appier’s solutions with various platforms.
- Develop and operate data pipelines as the foundation of system integrations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop automation tools that streamline daily operations.
- Work on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, leveraging their capabilities to optimize integration operations.
- Deploy systems to production and monitor service health.
- Participate in on-call shifts as needed to ensure integration reliability and scalability.
About you
[Minimum qualifications]
- 3+ years of experience in building and operating backend systems.
- Proven skills of interpersonal communication and problem-solving.
- Experience in any modern programming language (such as Python, Golang, JavaScript).
- Experience in modern software development tools (such as Git, JIRA).
- Familiarity with prototyping and MVP development.
- Ability to pick up new technologies and services quickly.
- Ability to communicate in English.
[Preferred qualifications]
- Expertise in Python and its ecosystem.
- Expertise in data pipelines, data quality and the related tools.
- Experience in multiple industries or software development domains.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud services (such as AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps principles.
