We are looking for engineers to join our US Marine Corps advance technology development team. We are in search of an /computer science major, with 2 years or more experience to code, optimize and build updated code fixes for speed and efficiency in an R&D setting. Software Engineer Secret Responsibilities include:

To create code and fix defects using an Agile process for a complex component of this weapon system using the software development life and test cycle.

To measure the computer processing time usage and come up with better methods of disk space utilization, network loading and throughout.

To enable designing, coding and maintenance of software support tools and models.

Minimum Qualifications and experience:

Bachelor’s Degree (in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Physics).

2 years experience after bachelors degree required.

No experience required but must be a self starter that paid attention in an accredited computer science or development program.

Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

C++ or Python experience.

DOD experience in programs or operations is beneficial but not required.

Agile development experience such as Atlassian tool suites, Jira (for issue tracking) and Confluence
