The Software Engineer will work alongside high caliber team members to implement solutions across the tech stack to build the PairSoft platform. The successful candidate will possess knowledge in C#, .NET, .NET core, and SQL Server.
Job Location: Remote anywhere in Costa Rica
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Develop and implement production quality software with minimal defects
- Write high quality, maintainable code following SOLID principles
- Responsible for the adherence of PairSoft’s software engineering standards
- Comply with all software development and quality assurance processes and participate in reviews of processes
- Willingness to test code both at a unit and functional level
- Ensure user documentation is completed for all software development projects
- Regularly participate in code reviews
- Actively participate in the Agile process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer applications or similar. Advanced education preferred
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience in C#, .NET Core
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL server
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Experience with development tools for CI/CD, unit, and integration testing
- Azure, Angular or React experience
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong Client communication skill translating technical language to non technical clients
- A good Team Player
- Highly motivated & self-driven with a proven ability to perform multi-tasking
- Achieving assigned deadlines
- Never give up attitude
- Experience working in a startup environment with a globally dispersed team
