About the team

The DevX team, also known as Developer Experience team,  is committed to empowering Developers with top-tier products for building, developing, and operating Drupal and Node applications on Acquia Cloud. Our focus is on SaaS/PaaS offerings such as Acquia Cloud IDE, Pipelines, Code Studio and Remote Administration.

We aim to maximize Developer productivity through innovative solutions that provide pre-configured Development Environments on demand, along with a pre-configured CI Pipeline and the flexibility to integrate external Developer tools. By providing a preconfigured and optimized environment for Drupal development, we enhance Developer efficiency, enabling faster Developer onboarding and time-to-market.

We're seeking passionate software engineers to collaborate on defining, designing, building, and operating enterprise-level persistent Cloud services.

Your responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer-facing applications and microservices on Kubernetes, ensuring security & quality at every level by implementing CI/CD and controls like Code Coverage and Security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to proactively document product and development details, including user interaction, architecture, and design decisions
  • Partner with team members to operate and deliver on established guidelines and drive improvements

Agile SCRUM

  • Contribute to backlog planning, grooming, and scheduling
  • Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies
  • Provide regular updates on assignments

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software development, including designing, building, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and microservices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes application development and microservices architectures. Helm, ArgoCD, and Golang Operators is a plus.
  • Demonstrated production experience in full stack development programming languages such as: Golang, PHP, JavaScript, and Node.js.
  • Solid Linux OS system management experience (Ubuntu, RHEL, Amazon Linux, etc.) is preferred.

Bonus points

  • Configuration management: Ansible, Terraform
  • Operational knowledge of Drupal in a production setting
