Software Engineer (Java, Spring, Kafka, RDS, React)

Primary technical activities will be related to development & design of Product Software using Core Java, Spring Framework, Kafka, SQL / PL/SQL using JDBC / Hibernate, RESTful APIs & Angular / ReactJS.
Skills Required
• Strong knowledge of Core Java 8+ and Object-Oriented programming concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Ecosystem (IOC concepts, Spring Boot, Spring Web)
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services and JSON
• Experience with relational databases is valuable (preferably Postgres or Oracle), including designing queries, data modelling, PL/SQL scripts
• Testing frameworks like JUnit
• Experience in CI/CD, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and Microservices
• Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to understand complex business workflows and determine how they can be implemented within the system
• Strong communication Skills, able to work in global delivery model and work with his/her counterpart across the globe
• Good understanding of agile methodology for project delivery
• Basic skills with Software Configuration Management Tools and Integrated Development Environment

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 3 years of experience or a Masters degree; OR in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years of experience
• Understanding of utilizing Agile software development methodologies
• Deep knowledge of at least one programming language along with ability to execute on complex programming tasks.
• Ability to document, track and monitor a problem/issue to a timely resolution
• Knowledge of operating systems
• Collaborative problem-solving ability and self-motivated
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with prioritization of duties
