About our Team

Our team is responsible for development & maintenance for our integration services across GDS domain. The team is dedicated to delivering top-notch solutions that align with our business goals and enhance the overall user experience. Our team is tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, including platform development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. Our team specializes in building integrations between client and target assets interacting with cloud platforms and on-premise systems. This team plays critical role is processing customers and orders in the downstream systems that would involve Salesforce, Peoplesoft and ecommerce.

About the role

This role demands an engineer with good skills on development using open-source technologies like Java Spring boot, Apache camel. This position will be responsible for developing integrations between various cloud platforms like AWS, Salesforce and Appian in the form of synchronous and asynchronous webservices like complex orchestrations integrating multiple systems in the process flow. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining middleware standards whilst building webservices and API’s for the integration services team

Responsibilities:

  • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.

  • Complete simple bug fixes.

  • Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.

  • Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.

  • Resolve technical issues as necessary.

  • Keep abreast of new technology developments.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of Proficiency in Java programming language.

  • Familiarity on Spring boot, Apache camel java components, AWS, RESTful and SOAP APIs.

  • Knowledge in deploy/run applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

  • Knowledge on integrating systems with native AWS components - API gateway, lambda, Event relay/bridge, SQS.

  • XML/JSON transformation capabilities.

  • Familiarity with version control/source code maintaining software's like GIT.

  • Proficiency with data manipulation languages.

  • Ability to work with simple data models.

  • Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Basic knowledge of data manipulation languages.

  • Knowledge of data storage subsystems.

  • Knowledge of test-driven development.

  • Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.

  • Basic oral and written communications skills
