About the position:

Our SEO team, part of the Diner Growth collective at OpenTable, is looking for a Software Engineer who will help us on the mission to connect diners and restaurants by building amazing discovery experiences.

You will work in our SEO team, based between London, Berlin and Kaunas.

This specific role is for candidates based in Kaunas.

We are laser-focused on achieving growth for OpenTable by acquiring potential diners via the best page ranking, keyword coverage and click-through rates on search engine result pages. We move all of these areas towards our goal through a collaborative experimental approach - using data is a huge part of our decision-making process.

The engineer will work in diner web engineering to drive our product growth, and directly impact business revenue. You'll work with React, GraphQL, TypeScript, Postgres, Kubernetes, and many other cutting-edge technologies.

Nobody knows everything in our teams, and we don't expect you to either. You'll be encouraged to learn on the job, and we have two dedicated days at the end of our sprints for people to explore, learn and be creative.

You'll fit right in if you have:

  • You'll primarily work with our Diner Products, which are React applications built with TypeScript. These applications use Redux for state management and GraphQL for data fetching;
  • Experience with building and maintaining full-stack Node applications;
  • A team-first mindset and a willingness to collaborate daily with developers, designers and product managers of all career levels;
  • Delivering results by working with and mentoring your peers to find the right solutions;
  • A data-driven and analytical approach when making decisions;
  • A culture of testing code as a way to ensure uptime and a great user experience;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation:

Salary consists of three parts:

Base part: may start from 2750 EUR Gross monthly up to 3990 EUR Gross monthly.

In addition:

  • Significant yearly bonuses, approx 12 percent annual salary;
  • Booking Holdings RSU (Restricted Stock Units) package, worth 20000 USD (before taxes) with possibility to get it every year.

Salary range provided is not final and will be discussed during the process based on your skills and experience.
