Software Engineer
We are looking for a Software Developer to join our R&D team at Integer Montevideo!
The primary purpose of this position is the design, development, testing, document, and maintenance of a software application used for the configuration and the follow up of Implantable Medical Devices.
The main purpose of this job is to perform work which comprises conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex task involving the Software Department for Medical Devices.
Some of the tasks include:
- Implementation of Software programmers for Medical Devices.
- Identify misspecifications, errors, contradictions, absence of common requirements, risks of certain requirements, requirements that are out of the scope of the project, for discussing with the team and the customer.
- Propose different solutions and alternatives for open requirements
- Execute and develop unit tests, as well as integration, stress, and regression tests.
- Collaborate reviewing test procedures and planning test for complex features of the software, writing special code if necessary.
- Collaborate with the planning, schedule, and coordination of the software development phases with the project leader.
- Complete and prioritize tasks and assignments.
- Present and provide data in project team meetings.
- Review and participate in writing the software requirements and other related documents, following the company procedures.
- Participate in the investigation and the development of new processes and technologies of moderate scope.
- Collaborate and participate with the QE team in the investigation of complaints and CAPA´s resolutions.
- Performs other functions as required.
Must have:
- Advanced student of Software Engineer, or Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to work individually and as a team.
- Experience coding with C#, .NET Framework 4.8 or higher (NET6, NET7)
- Knowledge of development environments and cross-platform tools.
- English level: intermediate / advanced.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Software analysis, design, development, and testing.
- Project planning and bug tracking such as Jira.
- Code versioning tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
- Continuous integration tools and Pipelines such as Bamboo, Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferable, other platforms like MongoDB.
- Mobile development experience: iOS and/or Android.
- Experience in multiplatform environments.
