About the Role:

*This role is a New York City based HYBRID position. Candidates must be located in NYC, and willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis, three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).*

Fubo is looking for an exceptional Front End Web Engineer with a passion for crafting simple systems that solve complex problems.

As a member of the Growth organization, you will work on optimizing the user journey from the very first visit on a landing page to completing the purchase funnel, as well as all account management related features with a talented team consisting of designers, product and engineers. You will directly contribute to driving new levels of growth for our customer base and business success through consistent innovation, ideation, rapid experimentation and data-driven development. Additionally, within our dynamic environment, we encourage engineers to explore and expand their skill set. Our growth engineering team is also involved in backend technologies, and engineers joining us will have the opportunity to learn and collaborate on backend projects, enriching their knowledge and contributing to our comprehensive approach to development.

We are looking for Software Engineers who are HIGHLY motivated to have product input, participate in product discovery and ideation sessions and more than anything else, have an innate curiosity for everything that makes a great tech product customers love.

Fubo Software Engineers have the following responsibilities:

• Architect, design, develop, test, maintain and improve software systems
• Collaborate with other engineers and members of the Fubo team to determine priorities and best practices, and refine functional requirements

All Fubo Software Engineers in Growth must:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in delivering working software, preferably web applications
• Have strong communication skills and be a positive team player with a solution-oriented mindset
• Strong knowledge of immutability concepts, CSS, and responsive design
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing concepts, feature flags and analytics development
• Strong debugging and performance optimization experience
• Have experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Have experience using Source Control (Git)
• Write clean, well-tested code
• Be familiar with at least one mature MV* framework

The ideal candidate will also:

• Stay informed of emerging technological trends and methodologies and propose new processes and technologies to the team
• Have experience with server side related technologies (NextJS)
• Have experience and good understanding of engineering best practices related to SEO
• Prior hands-on experience with backend technology stacks
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. Postgres, Redis)
• Experience with Golang/NodeJS

Fubo’s minimum base salary for this role if hired in New York City is $140,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $185,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's equity plan, annual cash bonus plans, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits. The final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
