Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Software Engineer - DevSecOps
Poznan, Poland
Your responsibilities:

• Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems.
• Evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications.
• Analyze assignments and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives.
• Execute necessary documentation as directed or needed.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs.
• Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation.
• Mentor junior software engineers on the team.
• Work on a product team and support product design by planning its work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver functionality for the complete product or products it supports.
• Design complex/significant parts of a system/sub-system or work on a complete product of a broad scope and solves well-defined problems with little guidance.
• May act as a work lead, providing technical coaching to other engineers and support personnel.
• Recognized as an expert user of critical technology.
• Develop new software functionality for product development.

Must have:

• Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellence in verbal and written communication in English.
• Apply modern software engineering principles.
• Manage competing priorities.
• Work in an Agile Environment.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SAP Applications, especially Finance area.
• Conversant with SAP BTP Services and overall working of the platform.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure, any Cloud certifications would make you stand out.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Principles.
• Working knowledge of using AI Companions.
• Any other Non-SAP infrastructure knowledge, Linux OS, server patching and maintenance.
• Azure platform working knowledge is desired.
