The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing artificial intelligence solutions that align with business goals. This senior-level position bridges the gap between business strategy and technical implementation, while driving innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
* What you'll do:
* Assist in developing and maintaining AI frameworks and standards, models, and guiding principles to help define and govern the future state architecture, business processes, information systems, and infrastructure
* Support the definition and development of AI platform roadmaps and technology lifecycles, transformational initiatives, M&A technology due diligence and integration plans, and solution design across a wide and diverse portfolio of solutions
* Provide support on projects focused on AI compliance, development, and implementation of strategic technological directives
* Participate in the vendor selection process and provide recommendations for investment in AI solutions, supported by appropriate ROI, total cost of ownership, and/or cost-benefit analyses
* Contribute to innovation initiatives and proof of concept projects in AI
* Assist in developing and presenting business cases for AI initiatives, for approval, funding, and prioritization
* Provide technical support and training within the AI capability scope
* Represent the AI organization for application, data, and infrastructure domain-specific initiatives by supporting these initiatives from an AI perspective
* Assist in architecting AI-based applications, mobile applications, and infrastructure, web services, middleware, and databases needed to support the future state technology platform
* Ensure coordination and completion of design review based on formalized AI standards
* Support compliance between business strategies and AI transformation activities
* What we expect of you
* Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience with Information Technology
* Basic understanding of AI architectural standards and roadmaps
* Interest in learning and integrating business and technological vision, connecting the dots across business needs, technologies, processes, and information
* Willingness to participate in large-complex technical efforts, maximizing current investment and optimizing process complexity
* Enthusiasm for contributing to future state AI architecture, creating competitive advantage for the business
* Eagerness to be involved in large, complex scale AI projects
* Solid presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate
* Ability to work autonomously and exhibit excellent judgment
* Strong interest in technical leadership and collaboration with development teams and vendors
* Possess a strong business and technical acumen to contribute to the strategic business plan and operational direction
* Passion for driving AI innovation initiatives
* AI certifications are a plus
