About the Team

The STeM(Service and Tenant Management) team's mission is to provide robust, reliable, scalable, and easy-to-use software solutions to orchestrate, manage, and monitor tenants and services for Workday. Our software is widely used by internal service teams, SREs, operation engineers, automation, and beyond.
The team is made up of resourceful engineers that do what it takes to make sure that projects are delivered at a fast pace with the highest quality while avoiding disruptions to our customers and team members.

About the Role

• Collaborate with other engineers to understand requirements and devise solutions.
• Produce software for orchestration and monitoring solutions.
• Maintain software quality assurance.
• Participate in development, code review, code role out and related processes.
• Comprehensive internal documentation of designs and product components.
• Diagnose and resolve production support issues

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Object Oriented Design
• 5 years of experience in Java Programming
• 3 years of experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity

Other Qualifications:

• Proficient in applying common design patterns, good grasp of distributed systems and capable of presenting design ideas optimally.
• Working experience of git, intellij, gradle, docker, helm, k8s, zookeeper are plus.Methodical investigation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and external teams.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
• Solid understanding of concurrency, multithreading, server architectures, and distributed systems.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high energy, agile environment.
• Linux/MacOS experience.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.CO.Boulder

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $124,000 USD - $186,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,800 USD - $210,000 USD
