Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Software Development Engineer VI to spearhead the creation of a No-Code Developer Platform at ID.me, serving over 100 million members. This platform will empower developers, product managers, and non-technical users to build, customize, and deploy workflows and integrations without writing a single line of code. The position will work from our Mountain View, CA office five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a robust, scalable No-Code platform that allows users to build workflows, integrations, and applications easily.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to define platform requirements and features.
- Implement drag-and-drop interfaces, reusable components, and intuitive tools for users with varying technical expertise.
- Develop integrations with ID.me’s APIs and third-party services to extend the platform’s capabilities.
- Ensure the platform’s security, reliability, and performance align with ID.me’s standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in No-Code/Low-Code development and continuously improve the platform’s capabilities.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless updates and deployments.
- Provide documentation, training, and support for internal and external users of the platform.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years working on No-Code/Low-Code tools or platforms.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in back-end development using languages like Ruby, Node.js, or Java.
- Familiarity with building user-centric design systems and intuitive interfaces.
- Expert of API integrations, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or contributing to No-Code platforms like Bubble, Retool, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of identity verification processes and technologies.
- Familiarity with security best practices in application development.
- Previous experience working in the identity and SaaS industry.
- Experience working in a startup environment.

The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.
