Software Development Engineer Test (SDET)

Your impact
You will have the opportunity to build best-in-class features for our customers, enhance the automation framework used internally, improve internal processes by doing RCAs & CAPAs, and continuously help raise the Intelsat bar.
What will you do?

• Manage releases and ensure they're of high quality.
• Coordinate with multiple teams across the org (both USA & India).
• Capture testing results clearly
• Raise bugs with good level of detail.
• Ability to clearly answer stakeholder questions on the features you've tested.
• Resolve CICD issues and ensure builds are flowing smoothly across environments.
• Complete automation for features as and when they're developed. Enhance the automation framework to cover more scenarios in automation.
• Enhance the processes within the team by conducting root cause analysis & coming up with insights on how to improve the way we deliver. Collaborate with & train the development team to improve testing & the quality of our code.
• Raise the bar by bringing in new technologies & ways to ensure quality.

Your required experience/skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience with Selenium & Cucumber, RestAssured, Postman, Jenkins, and BDD/TDD/CICD
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Git, GitLab, microservices and Agile
• Working knowledge of relational databases & SQL
• Working knowledge of microservices & debugging in a microservice environment

• Insights from RCAs are used to improve the process, making high quality software delivery much easier.
• Seen as a team player due to your adaptability, creative thinking, openness, communication skills and positive attitude
