Position Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Location: McKinley, Taguig (Morning Shift; 3x Onsite Per Week)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the Test Center of Excellence (TCoE) framework, driving quality initiatives, and ensuring robust testing standards across our organization. This role requires expertise in test automation, process optimization, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the Test Center of Excellence (TCoE) framework, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Analyze and refine existing testing processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
• Develop, enforce, and maintain testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across all projects.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools, frameworks, and technologies that align with project requirements and organizational strategies.
• Implement selected tools and ensure seamless integration with existing workflows.
• Provide training and mentorship to QA teams, enhancing their proficiency in testing practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and operations teams to ensure testing processes are integrated seamlessly across the SDLC.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders to address quality concerns and deliver solutions.
• Define and monitor metrics to measure testing effectiveness and quality improvements.
• Deliver regular reports to stakeholders, providing insights into quality assurance status and areas for improvement.
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or similar role.
• Proven track record in implementing TCoE frameworks and driving process improvements.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Solid understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
