About the Role
The Reconciliation Product team is building critical financial products that ensure the accuracy and completeness of Remitly’s financial data and are keystone to our company wide financial statements. You will build software to automate daily reconciliation processes reconciling millions of transactional events against partner data with a focus on reducing time and operational overhead within Finance teams replacing recurring manual business processes. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, based in Poland.
You Will

Design and build resilient and scalable systems reconciling millions of real world money movements

Build and scale automated Partner Data Hub for reconciliation

Deliver end to end complex projects and product features, with high autonomy and quality

Participate in code reviews and tech design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to improve the code quality.

Partner with product managers and engineers across teams to help achieve product and business goals

Collaborate with the Reconciliation team on monthly and yearly deliverables for Month End Close
You Have
-
A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience,
-
3+ years of software development experience or equivalent,
-
Proficiency in data structures, and algorithms and one or more general purpose languages like Go, Java, Kotlin, C#, and bonus point for familiarity with Go,

Proficiency in an RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, and bonus points for big data experience,

Experience building production software utilizing modern platforms, tools, and industry-standard approaches like Kubernetes and AWS,

Ability to collaborate and work as a team,
-
Knowledge of basic architecture, systems design, and agile practices.
Compensation Details: The base salary range for this position is typically 240 000 PLN - 280 000 PLN gross yearly. Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan. Your recruiter can share more information.
