What You’ll Achieve:
As a Java Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on customer business goals and needs. You will collaborate with product management, other engineering teams, customer success, and support to develop cutting-edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of our offerings.
You Will:
• Work with the team to build solutions using React.js for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Provide application support on an as-needed basis to resolve issues and ensure smooth operation.
• Participate in team activities such as sprint planning and retrospectives to enhance collaboration and project delivery.
• Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
• Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership

Essential Requirements:
• Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience.
• Experience in software development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining software products.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts and familiarity with any Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
• Experience with programming languages
• Experience with source control systems and continuous integration tools (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with Agile collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with Web Services technologies including REST and SOAP.
Desirable Requirements:
• 0-2 years of experience with strong skills in programming and with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Familiarity with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate uncertain situations.
• Highly motivated and a team player.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices for continuous integration and deployment.
• Nice to have: Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS).
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
