Software Automation QA Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a member of our Digital Software Engineering team we are looking for a Software Automation QA Engineer, remote in UK with a focus on working closely with the rest of the development team to build confidence in the ongoing releases of our software through automated testing. This is a very exciting time to join UL360 as we continue our efforts to increase our automated testing with the aim of improving quality and speeding up our release cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop test automation code working within an existing framework
• Design tests that adequately exercise the system under test
• Perform useability, functional, exploratory and regression testing
• Report bugs and issues within the tracking system
• Work within an agile team, actively participating in sprint planning, stand ups and retrospectives
• Conduct manual testing when necessary
• Develop strong knowledge of the system under test
• Take responsibility for learning from post-release issues and feed back into further improved test porcesses

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years experience in automated testing
• Knowledge of C#, Selenium, Specflow or similar BDD language
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in manual and exploratory testing
• Knowledge of course control and collaboration through Git.
