Atlassian is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our U.S.-based team. In this role, you will join a team and help produce and create engaging social-first content that tells our story, promotes our products, and enhances our brand globally. You will play a critical role in managing Atlassian's social media channels. You will use your expertise in social media marketing, digital media, or related fields to craft compelling brand narratives that position Atlassian as a leading voice worldwide. Your strong storytelling skills will be pivotal in shaping our narratives through ongoing content projects.
What you'll do

  • Develop creative ideas that promote Atlassian's profile and resonate deeply with our audience, cutting through the noise in the US and global markets.
  • Create, schedule, and manage daily content for Atlassian's social media platforms, ensuring each post reflects our bold and optimistic brand.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Atlassian, including Communications, Product Marketing, and Brand & Creative, to develop content and strategies that align with broader company goals, fostering a spirit of teamwork and innovation.
  • Collaborate with external Agencies and Influencer/Creator partners to develop content and strategies that align with broader company goals through owned and earned channels.
  • Support major campaign launches and evergreen content creation, including project management, asset trafficking, scheduling, and reporting, ensuring every detail is meticulously handled.
  • Analyze social media content performance and provide insights to optimize future strategies, always with a practical, data-driven approach.


Your background

  • 4+ years of marketing and/or experience managing social media accounts and social-first projects for B2B, tech, or SaaS brands.
  • You are a strong creator, editor, and writer who loves pitching new ideas and storytelling executions in social-first tactics like short-form video content, static assets, and other formats as needed.
  • Advanced knowledge of the impact video content makes on our audience. You take as much pride in a 15-minute narrative documentary project as you do in a short 15-second Instagram Reel.
  • You have a nuanced understanding of cultural differences to tailor content that resonates with diverse audiences globally.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and how to translate performance metrics into actionable takeaways.
  • A passion for marketing and staying up-to-date on industry and platform news.
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables, and stakeholders across markets.
  • An eye for detail, down to the last character, image crop, and line break.
  • A team player who easily balances high-profile projects and juggles urgent requests.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $95,900 - $127,800
Zone B: $86,300 - $115,000
Zone C: $79,600 - $106,100
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
