The Role

COMPANY OVERVIEW 

Pangaea creates and grows digitally native brands on a global scale. Our two brands are Lumin (www.luminskin.com) and Meridian (www.meridiangrooming.com), both in the personal care space. Our goal is to create iconic, disruptive, and culture impacting brands that attract communities of brand lovers across borders. Since our launch in 2018, we’ve sold our products in 50 different countries and have grown to over 50 employees and contractors across several locations in the world!

THE ROLE

We are hiring a Social Media and Influencer Intern to join our brand marketing team during the busy holiday season! This is a fantastic opportunity for a current college student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of social media and influencer marketing. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our team’s efforts, learning the ropes, and developing tangible skills that will set you up for success in your future career. If you're passionate about social media and eager to make an impact and are able to dedicate at least 10 hours/week for the next three months, we want to hear from you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct research and analyze content using platforms including AspireIQ, TikTok & Instagram
  • Maintain and update influencer databases and tools
  • Use influencer marketing sourcing tools to identify, acquire, and maintain new influencer contacts across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Manage influencer seedings & manages on-site inventory/product catalogs
  • Produce and assist with social media content (TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Twitter)
  • Conceptualize and create on-trend, platform-specific video content for our TikTok channels. You should be comfortable with recording your voice and being on camera as you may serve as on-camera talent)
  • Brainstorm and drive execution of fun, original social media content ideas and campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A college student majoring in communications, business, or marketing preferred with interest in a career in Social Media and Influencer Management and/or Public Relations
  • Available to work for school credit for a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Knowledge of influencers in men’s grooming, personal care, beauty, & lifestyle industries 
  • Passion for the health, beauty, wellness and/or personal care space
  • Eager to learn, have a positive attitude, receptive to feedback
  • Located in LA (having a car/mode of transportation is a plus!)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a part-time, unpaid internship. Benefits include:
