- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake-based data warehouses and data pipelines.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions on the Snowflake platform.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and UDFs in Snowflake.
- Monitor and ensure data quality, performance, and reliability of Snowflake systems.
Python or Talend Development
- Utilize Python to develop and automate ETL/ELT pipelines, API integrations, and data workflows.
- Implement data integration solutions using Talend, including building Talend jobs for data transformation and orchestration.
- Troubleshoot and debug ETL/ELT processes to ensure optimal performance.
DevOps Exposure
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and monitoring using tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar technologies.
- Ensure proper version control and manage data pipeline configurations.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to meet business requirements.
- Document technical designs, data models, and workflows to ensure transparency.
- Proven experience in Snowflake data warehouse development.
- Proficiency in either Python (for scripting and automation) or Talend (for ETL/ELT).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data modeling concepts.
- Exposure to DevOps practices such as CI/CD, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker is a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integration with Snowflake.
- Understanding of data engineering principles and practices, including performance tuning.
