Snowflake Administrator
Job brief
We are looking for a Snowflake Administrator who will play a pivotal role in managing the Snowflake data platform to ensure its reliability, performance, security and with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications, in Linux environments. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. As a Snowflake Administrator, Your expertise will contribute to the organization's data-driven initiatives and help drive business success through effective data management and analytics.
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). SnowPro Certified
- Minimum 6+ yrs of experience with relevant 3+ yrs. of experience as a database administrator or data engineer, with specific experience in managing Snowflake.
- Strong hands-on experience in data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and SQL.
- Proficiency in Snowflake architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e. g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience working with cloud-based data solutions.
- Solid understanding of data security and compliance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications in Snowflake administration or related areas are a plus.
- Skills: SQL / Python/Unix shell Scripting / GitHub
- Create Functional, Technical & Testing documentation
- Troubleshoot and fix issues reported by QA and Customers and help product support

Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well designed, testable, scalable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code, usability, reliability, and performance testing of code/app.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
